The South Florida Jazz Orchestra is Miami’s premier modern big band, comprised of many of the best jazz artists and studio musicians in the greater Miami area. Directed by bassist and composer Chuck Bergeron, the band’s latest release–Cheap Thrills–features Miles Davis, saxophonist Rick Margitza, along with Grammy-award winner Brian Lynch, and highly-acclaimed artists John Hart and Martin Bejerano.

In addition to performing repertoire from their own critically-acclaimed recordings, the South Florida Jazz Orchestra has presented many world-renowned artists in concert over the last 15 years.An eclectic list of Grammy-winners and stars that includes Randy Brecker, Arturo Sandoval, Janis Seigel, Wycliffe Gordon, Kevin Mahogany, Tom Scott, Eddie Daniels, Jamie Davis, Ed Calle, John Fedchock, Ira Sullivan, Antonio Adolfo, and Ken Pepslowski. The band’s mission is to continue to produce and promote great artists and modern jazz throughout the community. To that end, the South Florida Jazz Orchestra is proud to present wonderful artist and highly-acclaimed Jazz Vocalist—Ms. Lisanne Lyons!
